Job summary

ENFRA seeks a Structural Engineer PE I in Little Rock, AR to contribute to project studies, investigations, and designs. You will prepare drawings for structural systems, assess gravity and lateral loads, and ensure compliance with codes and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in structural/civil/architectural engineering with a structural emphasis.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• 4–6 years of structural engineering experience as a PE.
• 3+ years of experience with AutoDesk Revit BIM software.

Responsibilities

• Designs and prepares drawings for all structural systems for building projects, including gravity and lateral loads, foundations and framing.
• Determines size and orientation of structural members via calculations.
• Coordinates designs with architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, civil, etc.
• Performs quality control review of structural drawings.
• Writes and edits structural system specifications for building projects.
• Attends meetings with owners, clients, and architects; prepares notes.
• Coordinates with authorities to ensure code compliance.
• Mentors structural designers to ensure quality and development.
• Conducts site surveys and project visits to monitor progress and conformance.

Education

Bachelor of Science degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Architectural Engineering with a Structural Emphasis

Professional Engineer (PE) License

4 - 6 years of Structural Engineering Experience as a Licensed Professional Engineer
