United Contractor Services, LLC is currently seeking to fill the position of Licensed Cold Form Structural Engineer, licensed in the State of Georgia for immediate full‑time employment.

Responsibilities

• This candidate will serve as the technical structural lead for REVIT technicians and structural designers on a variety of projects, including industrial and commercial.
• Conducts technical planning, representing analysis, creating designs, preparing reports, and other tasks.
• Provides technical guidance on project scope, budgets, and schedules for assignments.
• Supports PM providing technical leadership on large complex projects and typically works on multiple major projects.
• Provides career development mentoring to early‑career engineers.
• Provide creative, economical solutions for challenging framing conditions by utilizing knowledge of products and manufacturing limitations.
• Assists in client contact, communication, and attends client meetings (as required).
• Perform quote engineering functions as needed including preliminary design of structural framing, clarification of scope of work, and qualification of proposals.
• Represent United Contractor Services, LLC as an engineering resource in project meetings with customers, typically for review of design results or to present value‑engineering ideas.
• Perform other engineering duties as needed.

Education & Experience Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering.
• Master's degree strongly preferred. Professional Engineer (PE) registration in the United States. Structural Engineer (SE) strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret job‑related manuals and documents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Autodesk Revit is a plus.
• Experience designing steel and cold‑form metal framing.
• Strong knowledge of structural building codes: IBC, AISC 360, AISC 341, AISC 358, ASCE 7, AISI, etc.
