Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant structural design experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Structural Engineering (SE) license or ability to obtain SE licensure within six months.
• Experience with analytical software to design isolated structures and full buildings (RISA 3D preferred).
• Experience in drawing production using Revit and/or AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC codes; non-building structures experience preferred.
• Familiarity with ACI 350, API 620, 650, 653 (AWWA D100 also considered).
• Understanding of DOD/Federal design standards and UFCs (preferred).
• Experience in design of deep foundations and/or soil improvements, coastal environments.

About the Position

We are searching for a Mid-Senior Structural Engineer to join our Professional Design Group. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of relevant structural design experience and will be responsible for training, mentoring, and developing junior staff while providing expertise to clients and collaborating with in-house multidisciplinary teams. The role will involve scope evaluation, project planning, technical review, construction administration, quality control, and supporting Pond's construction management group in design-build efforts. Additional experience in supporting multiple markets will be a plus. This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across different industries. Experience and Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant structural design experience, preferably related to industries such as civil, industrial, and infrastructure
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
• Structural Engineering (SE) license or the ability to obtain SE licensure within six months (additional licenses are a plus)
• Experience using analytical software to design isolated structures and full buildings (preferred experience with RISA 3D)
