Job summary

Seneca Resources in Houston, TX is seeking a Structural Engineer (JP2) for the Southeast Region. This on-site role involves performing structural analysis and design for steel and concrete structures, ensuring code compliance and clear communication on design documents and models.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience designing and analyzing traditional steel and concrete structures

Position Title: Structural Engineer (JP2) - Southeast Region
Location: Houston, TX (On-Site)
Clearance Requirements: None
Pay Rate: $48.00 per hour
Position Description:

Join a dynamic design team as a Structural Engineer supporting a variety of projects within the Southeast Region. This position involves performing structural analysis and design for steel and concrete structures, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. Collaborate closely with project leads, structural designers, and interdisciplinary teams to develop innovative design concepts, execute analysis, and communicate structural requirements effectively on design documents and models. Gain valuable hands‑on experience in structural engineering fundamentals, lateral analysis (wind and seismic), and integration across disciplines. Take ownership of your work, meet project deadlines, and contribute to high‑quality, cost‑effective solutions in a fast‑paced environment.
