Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Structural Engineer Summer Intern to contribute to transmission line projects across multiple U.S. offices. This internship offers hands-on experience in design, analysis, and collaboration with our engineers on real-world infrastructure challenges.

Job Summary

As a Structural Engineer (Transmission Line) Summer Intern at Black & Veatch, you will play a meaningful role in addressing some of the world’s most critical infrastructure challenges. • Perform variety of tasks to support engineering analyses, report production, and designs
• Prepare basic calculations

Minimum Qualifications

No experience required. Current enrollment in ABET accredited university in Civil Engineering program with a preferred emphasis in Structural Engineering. Preference in coursework is at least 1 design course. All applicants must be able to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
