Job summary

Dennis Group is seeking a junior or senior civil/structural engineering student to contribute to the design, permitting, and analysis of food and beverage processing facilities. You will assist with calculations, drafting, and structural modeling for steel, concrete, and foundations.

The role involves coordinating with multiple disciplines, reviewing geotechnical reports, and supporting project teams on site visits, with travel approximately 15 days per year.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Civil or Structural Engineering degree (JC/ SO).
GPA of 3.0 or above expected.
Experience or schooling in structural design and drafting.
Experience with AutoCAD and Revit for contract drawings and specs.
RAM knowledge is a plus; EIT/FE desirable.

Responsibilities

Apply knowledge of materials and construction techniques for various structures.
Perform hand calculations and create analysis models for design tasks.
Draft sketches, contract drawings and specifications using AutoCAD.
Review submittals and calculations for conformity and quality assurance.
Coordinate structural work with other disciplines and field teams.
