Job summary

Titan America is seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join the Corporate Engineering team in Medley, FL. You will provide technical support to all TA facilities and collaborate with project teams on design and construction phases.

The role requires a B.S. in Structural Engineering with 3-5 years of relevant experience, plus knowledge of CAD tools and structural design software. A professional license is a plus as is project management familiarity.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Structural Engineering is required.
• 3-5 years’ experience in Structural Engineering positions preferably in heavy industrial installations.
• Knowledge of Project Management and CAD packages will be considered a plus.
• Knowledge of structural design software packages will be considered a plus.
• Professional license in any State will be considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assets Maintenance
• Inspect and audit TA facilities, propose repairs and upgrades to structures.
• Keep track of regulatory changes and building codes for all TA locations.
• Provide Structural Engineering support to the Project Management team during design and construction phases.
• Advise Project Managers on budgets and schedules for major projects.
• Supervise site and soil survey works to assist foundation design.
• Assist during permitting and site development phases.
• Ensure code compliance of new buildings and installations and obtain permits.
• Assist in preparation of scopes of work for foundations, concrete, steel, and structural works.
• Provide supervision during major phases of projects.
