ATS Engineers, Inspectors and Surveyors in Austin, TX is seeking a Structural EIT to support residential and light commercial projects across Central Texas. The successful candidate will grow as a structural engineer while collaborating with experienced engineers and drafters.

Responsibilities include structural analysis, foundation and framing design, preparation of calculations and design documents, and coordination with clients and project teams to meet deadlines and expectations.

Competenze

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an Accredited University. Engineering with a structural focus a plus.
• Master’s degree or E.I.T. certification in Texas is a plus
• Experience with building structures, wood or steel framing, and concrete foundation design is preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate clearly with supervisors and project teams
• Experience with RISA, Enercalc, Excel or similar design tools is preferred

Job Description

ATS is seeking a Structural EIT in our Austin, TX office to support residential and light commercial projects throughout Central Texas.

The successful candidate will be interested in growing as a structural engineer while working alongside experienced engineers and drafters. This role supports projects including single-family homes, townhouses, light commercial buildings, tenant finish-outs, foundations, framing and related structural elements.

Job Activities Include

• Structural analysis and design for residential and light commercial projects
• Foundation, framing and structural element design
• Preparation of calculations, design documents and engineering support materials
• Coordination with engineers, drafters, clients and project stakeholders
• Support for multiple projects while meeting deadlines and client expectations

Specific Requirements
