Job summary

Bowman Consulting is seeking a Structural Engineer III to join our Chicago team, with a preference for on-site work and a hybrid option. You will lead complex structural designs, coordinate with multiple disciplines, mentor junior staff, and communicate with clients and agencies to advance transportation and infrastructure projects.

The role requires a civil engineering degree, 5+ years of experience, and professional licensure (EIT/PE/SE preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.

Responsibilities

• Lead/assist with structural engineering and planning work.
• Develop detailed structural designs with project team.
• Coordinate with disciplines and clients.
• Prepare reports, plans, specs, and cost estimates.
