Job summary

Faith Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Structural Engineer II to perform basic structural engineering tasks for electrical construction projects under supervision. You'll work with engineers, designers, and production teams to apply mechanics, mathematics, physics, and material science to problem solving.

The role requires a Bachelors or Masters in Structural/Civil Engineering, 4+ years of experience, and up to 25% travel. Typical hours are 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with structural emphasis.
• 4+ years of experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance to Level 1 Engineers and Designers.
• Performs detailed calculations to compute and establish construction standards and specifications.
• Prepares and studies technical drawings/specifications to ensure that designs/installations conform to standards & customer requirements.
• Plans layout of construction projects.
• Conducts field surveys and studies diagram and other data to identify and correct structural problems.
• Confers with internal and external customers to discuss existing or potential construction projects.
• Provides guidance to ensure that construction activities comply with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
• Inspects completed installations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications.
• Compiles data and writes reports regarding existing and potential engineering studies and projects.
• Operates computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
• Assist in QA and QC of fabrication.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
