KPFF Consulting Engineers in Lexington, KY is seeking a Structural Engineer with 4+ years of experience to contribute to projects from concept through construction. You’ll collaborate with experienced engineers, BIM professionals, and clients, with mentorship from KPFF’s engineering team.

Bachelor’s in Civil/Architectural Engineering, PE license, and proficiency in ETABS, RAM, RISA-3D, and Revit are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering (Master's preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum 4 years of structural engineering design experience (project management experience is a plus).
• Proficiency with ETABS, RAM Structural System, RISA-3D, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC codes.
• Experience with BIM software such as Revit.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of structural engineering projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building types and materials.
• Collaborate with clients to understand project goals and maintain clear, consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in feasibility studies, site investigations, and structural assessments, as needed.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, and reports per building codes.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Promote safety and compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

What You'll Do

Professional Background

• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
