Job summary

Blueprint Hires is seeking a Structural Engineer to support Project Managers and Principals in Houston, TX, contributing to design and investigative services. The role involves evaluating existing structures, performing remedial designs, and overseeing bidding and contract administration.

The candidate should have a PE license (preferred), 5+ years of construction-related experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Dynamics. A comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• PE license preferred; Civil/Mechanical/Structural.
• 5+ years of relevant construction or related field experience in building envelope systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; MS Dynamics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Study existing building conditions and identify failures within components and systems.
• Conduct research for remedial design solutions, including structural calculations when necessary.
• Manage the bidding process and administer contract documents.
• Conduct forensic investigations, perform testing, and analyze evidence to develop conclusions and recommendations.
