Forensic Structural Engineer, P.E.
Haag, a Salas O’Brien company and leader in forensic engineering and consulting since 1924, is seeking an experienced Forensic Structural Engineer in the Houston, TX area. Working from your home office and our office in Sugar Land, TX, you will investigate and evaluate the cause and extent of damage following storms, natural disasters, fires/explosions, construction/design defects, accidents, foundation movement, and more.
Investigate and evaluate structural damage and failures resulting from natural disasters, fires/explosions, construction defects, accidents, foundation movement, and other events; produce detailed reports; present findings to clients; provide expert witness testimony as needed.
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an ABET‑accredited university is required. A Master of Science Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering is desirable.
Base pay range: $125,000.00‑$185,000.00 per year.
Variable compensation: $0 to $55,000 per year.
Total compensation range: $125,000 – $240,000 per year.
