A leading engineering firm is seeking a Structural Engineer for remote work in the New York/New Jersey area. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in engineering, a PE License, and at least 5 years of experience in the industry. We are currently seeking a Structural Engineer for our New York/New Jersey district with experience in the design and/or construction of residential and/or commercial buildings. The successful candidate will assist in determining the cause, origin, and extent of construction defects, structural failures, water intrusions, and other failures. An understanding and proficiency of installation standards, practices, and procedures within the building construction industry is essential.
Although this position is remote, the candidate will travel in the NY/NJ areas and surrounding states for two to three hours daily. The candidate must reside in the NYC, NJ, or Long Island areas.
The salary range for this position is $104,100.00 - $156,100.00 and is dependent on education, experience, location, and certifications/licensure.
