Job summary

gpac seeks a Structural Engineer to join our growing engineering team in St. Louis, MO. You will perform on-site evaluations, design and oversee residential and commercial projects, ensuring safety and compliance with building codes while leveraging cutting-edge technology.

The role requires a BSCE, 2+ years of experience, EIT or PE, and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D. You will collaborate with architects and contractors, manage drainage and site development details, and contribute to

Qualifications

BSCE or related field required.
EIT or PE certification required.
2+ years of related engineering experience.
Strong stormwater design, grading, and utility layouts knowledge.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Develop design ideas using AutoCAD 3D, considering client requirements and environmental impacts.
Ensure designs are robust, efficient, safe and sustainable.
Conduct site investigations for planning and design.
Address erosion control to minimize environmental impact.
Develop detailed site development designs including drainage and shoring.
Prepare reports, designs and drawings for clients and non-engineers.
Coordinate with architects, surveyors and contractors to meet deadlines and budgets.
Monitor project progress from concept to completion.
Stay updated with engineering developments and apply innovations.
