As a multi-discipline firm, Isett provides a full range of engineering and consulting services, including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, environmental, geotechnical, and municipal engineering, surveying, landscape architecture, code enforcement, plan review, construction management, construction materials testing, and grant writing services to clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
Our busy Structural Engineering department has an opportunity for a Staff Engineer/Designer in our Lehigh Valley (Allentown, PA) or Greater Reading (Wyomissing, PA) office.
As a Staff Engineer in the Structural department, you will contribute primarily to our industrial projects, with the opportunity to work on a wide range of other exciting projects, including public/private schools, commercial offices, residential developments, and institutional buildings.
You will be involved in projects from start to finish, allowing you to see your designs come to life. You’ll play a critical role in fostering long-term relationships with our clients through providing top-notch service. You’ll be part of a team, collaborating with experienced engineers who are committed to your growth as a designer/engineer. Effective communication skills are required for your success in this position.
We seek a candidate with some technical design experience, proficient in utilizing structural design software or similar programs. The ability to perform basic design and analysis tasks is essential.
