Job summary

Superior is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Engineering team in Columbus, Ohio. The engineer will produce all aspects of engineering deliverables from concept to completion as assigned by the Director of Engineering or Senior Structural Engineer.

The role requires applying codes and standards to deliver best-in-class engineered solutions, with collaboration across internal teams and on-site coordination with owners and managers at our Columbus headquarters.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
Bonus: FE exam completed or in progress.
Bonus: PE license in the State of Ohio.
Bonus: at least 1 year in consulting engineering or structural design/construction.

Responsibilities

Perform structural engineering analysis and design for assigned projects.
Develop and compile structural calculations and calculation packages.
Create structural construction drawings and Revit model deliverables.
Review designs for opportunities to reduce costs.
Collaborate with internal teams to support project goals and deliverables.
Coordinate with owners, CM/owners' design professionals; conduct site observations.
