Job summary

Coffman Engineers in Anchorage seeks a mid-level Structural Engineer to assist in the design of commercial, institutional, and industrial structures. You will join a cross‑discipline team focused on excellence and growth, contributing to analysis, detailing, and project execution.

The role requires a Civil/Structural engineering degree, FE, and 3+ years of experience, with preference for a Master’s degree, AutoCAD/Revit, and PE/SE registration as you advance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Architectural, or other structural engineering related field.
• Passed Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE).
• 3+ years of professional experience.
• Experience in concrete and steel design.
• Experience with structural analysis software (RISA 3D or similar).
• Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering (preferred).
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit (preferred).
• Experience in masonry and timber design (preferred).
• Registration as a PE and/or SE (preferred).

• Assist in the design of commercial, institutional, and industrial structures.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline team to deliver project objectives.
• Contribute to structural analysis and drawings under supervision.
