As part of the Structural Group, the Structural Engineer designs a wide variety of structures such as bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and noise barriers. Ensures structures can withstand the stresses and pressures imposed by use and the environment. Calculates stability, strength, and rigidity and makes sure the right materials are used for each assigned project.
