Chipton‑Ross is seeking multiple Structural Engineer 4's for a contract opportunity in Melbourne, FL.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of 10 years' experience, including a background in aerospace structural analysis; OR Master’s degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university and 8 years' experience, including a background in aerospace structural analysis; OR Ph.D. degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university and 5 years' experience, including a background in aerospace structural analysis.
• Your ability to obtain and/or transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.

Position Responsibilities

• Performing static, dynamic, and DaDT structural analyses of metallic and composite airframe structure, mechanical systems, and equipment, by hand and by using the automated methods and procedures approved for the program.
• Derive non‑flight applied loads, create, extract, and distribute internal loads utilizing tools such as FEMAP, NX, Teamcenter, and other software applications.
• Collaborate in a team environment, prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish project results, manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and comprehend and analyze complex problems to develop solutions.

Required Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline is required. School must be accredited.

Hours

• 9/80A schedule. 1st shift. 7:30 AM – 5 PM.
