Base pay range

$60.00/hr - $120.00/hr

We’re launching a 5-week production sprint at Sierra BIM Solutions and need experienced structural engineers to help us push a wave of residential projects across the finish line.

This is a remote, flexible, and well-compensated opportunity — ideal for someone looking to pick up extra design work and execute efficiently with minimal oversight.

Most of the projects are simple and repetitive, perfect for someone familiar with U.S. residential design. We’ve built templates and checklists help streamline the workflow.

What we’re looking for:

Proven experience with residential structural design in the U.S.

Strong understanding of wood framing, load paths, gravity/lateral systems, and structural detailing.

Engineers who can work independently and take a project from redlines or markups to a complete drawing set ready for final review and stamping

Proficiency in:

Excel (design templates/calcs)

Enercalc

RISA 3D

Revit

Familiarity with IRC, IBC, and applicable local codes

PE or SE license preferred (but not strictly required — the key is experience and reliability)
