Job summary

TYG is seeking a Structural Engineer to join its growing national and international engineering practice. You will conduct structural and forensic evaluations, investigate damage, manage multiple projects, and produce clear technical reports for clients and stakeholders.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering; a PE license is preferred, but candidates pursuing licensure are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering required or strongly preferred.
  • PE license preferred; licensure pursued encouraged.
  • Experience in structural investigations and damage assessments is a plus.

Salary:

$110,000 - $160,000 (dependent on location & experience)

We are working with a leading national and international architecture and engineering firm that is continuing to grow its structural engineering division. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team involved in a diverse portfolio of projects, including structural investigations, construction defect analysis, and storm-related damage assessments across multiple sectors.

The Role

As a Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering assessments and supporting a variety of complex projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting structural and forensic evaluations across a range of building types
  • Investigating structural damage and identifying root causes
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
  • Producing clear, detailed technical reports and presenting findings to clients, legal professionals, and project stakeholders
About You

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional with:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, though candidates actively working toward licensure are encouraged to apply
