Job summary

DP Professionals (DPP) in Phoenix is seeking a structural engineer to support the aerospace team in analysis of mechanical systems and hardware, and to perform structural analyses on aerospace structures and assemblies.

The role involves developing structural models, running FEA (FEMAP, NX NASTRAN, ANSYS, ABAQUS), reviewing drawings, and collaborating with cross-functional teams while pursuing a U.S. Government security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or STEM with 5+ years of relevant engineering experience, OR Master's with 3+ years, OR PhD with 1+ year.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
• Strong background in structural analysis with demonstrated engineering experience.
• Experience with FEMAP, NX NASTRAN, ANSYS, or ABAQUS finite element analysis software.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with standard office software and engineering documentation tools.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage assigned work.
