Job summary

SMBH in Columbus, OH is seeking a Structural Engineer to join the team to deliver designs and reports that help clients build safe, affordable structures.

You will design and analyze structures, supervise projects, perform site visits, and provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers, with a hybrid office-based schedule and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural, Civil, or Architectural Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of structural experience focused on buildings.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Command of the Statics and Mechanics of Structures.
• Knowledgeable of relevant building codes and standards.
• Advanced proficiency with structural design software.
• Excellent collaborative and communication skills.

Responsibilities
