Job summary

Wiley|Wilson is seeking a Structural Engineer-in-Training (EIT) in our Alexandria, VA office. You will work with licensed engineers, doing structural analysis, design, and reporting across a range of projects while building toward a PE license.

You’ll gain hands-on experience from field investigations to cost estimates, learning CAD/BIM workflows with AutoCAD and Revit in a collaborative, ESOP-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a structural concentration from ABET-accredited institution.
• FE Exam must be passed by the start date.
• AutoCAD and Revit experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design calculations for various projects.
• Prepare reports and design drawings and assist with design solutions.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and cost estimates as needed.
• Assist with field investigations to verify existing conditions and tie to drawings.
