Job summary

RESPEC seeks a Structural EIT to join our Denver, CO office. The primary role will include structural analysis and design for facilities supporting new construction and rehabilitations/renovations in collaboration with a team of architects, civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers.

The EIT will interpret building codes, prepare structural plans and details, and conduct related construction observations. RESPEC offers licensure assistance and an ESOP path, with a strong employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in civil engineering with structural coursework emphasis from an accredited institution.
• 0-2 years of experience in structural engineering.
• Engineer-in-Training, having passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam
• AutoCAD and Revit experience
• RISA, STAAD, SAP, or similar Structural Analysis Software experience
• Experience with review of structural construction drawings
• Ability to read and interpret building codes and regulations
• Experience with preparing plans, specifications, and design calculations
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively work in a team
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record; position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travel.

Additional Information

Compensation: Salary range is $78,000 - $83,000 annual and depends on experience and expertise. Compensation includes a comprehensive fringe-benefits package.RESPEC is a 100 percent employee-owned company, and employees are eligible for participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) after a qualifying period.

Work Schedule: During the summer months; 40 hours/week.
