Job summary

RESPEC seeks a Structural EIT (Engineer in Training) to join our Denver, CO office. This is an onsite/office-based position based.

The Structural Engineer in Training (EIT) will perform structural analysis and design for facilities undergoing new construction and renovations, collaborating with architects and other engineers. It offers professional licensure support and a path to growth within a 100% employee-owned company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s in civil engineering with structural coursework emphasis from an accredited institution.
• 0-2 years of experience of structural engineering
• Engineer-in-Training, having passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam
• AutoCAD and Revit experience
• RISA, STAAD, SAP, or similar Structural Analysis Software experience
• Experience with review of structural construction drawings
• Ability to read and interpret building codes, and regulations
• Experience with preparing plans, specifications, and design calculations
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively work in a team
• Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record; position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travel.

The Structural Engineer in Training (EIT)’s primary role will include structural analysis and design for facilities supporting new construction and rehabilitations/renovations in collaboration with a team of architects, civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers. Duties will include interpretation of building codes and standards, preparation of structural plans and details, and related construction observations for these structural projects. Additional Information

Compensation: Salary range is $78,000 - $83,000 annual and depends on experience and expertise. Compensation includes a comprehensive fringe-benefits package.RESPEC is a 100 percent employee-owned company, and employees are eligible for participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) after a qualifying period.

Work Schedule: During the summer months; 40 hours/week.
