Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Structural Engineer in Arlington, VA to conduct analyses, develop design options, and assist in preparing cost estimates and specifications for structural projects.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Structural Engineering, proficiency with AutoCAD and other design tools, and an EIT certification or the ability to obtain one. Local candidates are preferred and you will work within an employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Certification/ability to obtain EIT is preferred; local candidates are encouraged.

Due to client contract requirements, a minimum citizenship status of Naturalized US Citizen is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree
• EIT certificate or ability to obtain. Candidates hired without their EIT will be titled "Structural Designer" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression
• Local candidates preferred

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering
• Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, RISA, Staad, SAP, Tedds, RAM, ETABS, SAFE or similar
