Job summary

Thomas & Hutton in Charleston, SC or Savannah, GA seeks a motivated StructuralEIT to contribute to design and drafting for diverse structures spanning industrial, commercial, municipal, marine, and energy markets.

You will draft construction documents using Revit (AutoCAD desirable), perform structural analyses, and collaborate with engineers and landscape architects while supporting field assessments and reporting. Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of structural drafting and design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, structural emphasis; US EIT Licensure preferred.
• Proficiency with creating construction documents using Revit; AutoCAD experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of a variety of structures.
• Create construction documents, including drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate and work with other engineers and landscape architects during design.
• Assist with structural condition assessments of existing structures and write reports.
• Visit job sites and assist with reviewing construction submittals and answering questions from contractors.
