Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising is seeking a full-time structural engineer in Salt Lake City, Utah. The role involves developing design options and performing engineering assignments independently or alongside senior engineers. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering and an active commitment to the company's employee-owned culture. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to significant building infrastructure projects in a diverse and inclusive environment.

• Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of “Coordinator” and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.

• Conduct analyses to develop design options or recommendations for engineering projects.
• Perform routine engineering assignments with standard techniques and procedures.
• Work independently on small projects or assist senior engineers on larger projects.
• Give direction to clerical and technical personnel as needed.
• Perform other duties as needed.

In the role of Structural EIT/Coordinator, we'll count on you to:
