Job summary

Richard Adams Engineers & Consultants (RAE) in Tampa, FL seeks a Structural Drafter to join onsite. You will create 3D Revit models, develop plans and details, and ensure documentation aligns with BIM standards.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years using Revit, strong attention to detail, and effective communication to coordinate with multiple disciplines. This is a full-time, in-office role in Temple Terrace.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of structural drafting experience using Revit.
• Experience or academic background in Design/Drafting, CAD, BIM Technology, Civil Engineering, etc.
• Strong working knowledge of Revit for model creation and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D Revit models to produce plans, sections, details, and construction documentation.
• Apply redline revisions accurately and efficiently.
• Follow BIM standards, templates, and workflows—and contribute feedback for improvement.
• Participate in team discussions and coordination with other disciplines.

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of structural drafting experience using Revit (AutoCAD experience is a plus)
• Experience or academic background in a related field (Design/Drafting, CAD, BIM Technology, Civil Engineering, etc.)
• Strong working knowledge of Revit for model creation and construction documentation
• Ability to coordinate Revit models with other disciplines
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to clear, consistent documentation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and organize tasks effectively
• This is a full-time, in-office position
