Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Designer to lead and support a variety of engineering projects. The successful candidate will take ownership of design tasks, provide guidance to junior designers and drafters, interface with internal and external project stakeholders, and ensure the technical quality and accuracy of project deliverables.

Responsibilities of the Structural Designer include, but are not limited to:

·Lead the structural design of bulk material handling systems including conveyors, transfer towers, foundations, support structures, and related infrastructure.

·Prepare detailed 3D models and 2D construction drawings, and specifications.

·Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, industry standards, and client requirements.

·Oversee and review the work of junior designers and CAD drafters.

·Participate in field investigations and site visits.

·Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams including Civil/Structural Engineers, Mechanical and Electrical engineers and designers.

·Interface with internal project stakeholders to present deliverables, review drawings and project documentation, and ensure design quality and completeness.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

·Competent in Microsoft Office suite of programs and design software applications

·Effective verbal and written communication skills

·Ability to perform tasks with minimal guidance or supervision

·Strong knowledge of civil and structural codes (e.g., AISC, ACI, ASCE)

·Proficiency with AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, Revit or equivalent 3D Modeling software
