Qualifications

• Read plans and builder specs to create material takeoffs and layouts.
• Strong construction math and drafting capability.
• Attention to detail and clear, proactive communication.
• Willingness to learn new software quickly.

Responsibilities

• Review residential and light commercial plans and builder specs.
• Build material takeoffs, estimates, and detailed layouts.
• Resolve plan conflicts and questions before materials go out.
• Collaborate with sales, architects, builders, and vendors on design plans.
• Support crews with field answers and solutions; maintain consistency with the estimating team.
