Stantec is seeking a Structural Designer to support its Energy group. The role involves civil and structural engineering, focusing on dams and hydraulic structures, along with participation in multidisciplinary teams. Stantec is currently looking to add a Structural Designer to support our Energy group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and interest in the field of civil / structural engineering. This position applies knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields, with specific emphasis in dams and hydraulic structures. The candidate must have familiarity with common methods for structural analysis and design of structures using relevant codes and standards. Applicant must be capable of working effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients, and be willing to learn from peers and supervisors.

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
Benefits Summary : Regular full-time and part-time employees have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term / long-term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage and paid family leave. Regular full-time and part-time employees will receive ten paid holidays in each calendar year. Temporary / casual employees have access to 401(k) plans, employee stock purchase program, and paid leave, in accordance with state and local law.
