Job summary

Novetus Engineering LLC in Houston is seeking a Senior Structural Designer to develop modular LNG components and lead 3D modeling efforts. The role is based in Downtown Houston and requires in-person work.

You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, review models for clashes, and produce detailed drawings and documentation to support procurement, fabrication, and construction activities.

Job Title: Senior Structural Designer Location: Downtown Houston Office Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm (in person)

JOB SUMMARY

Novetus Engineering LLC is looking to fill a position as Senior Structural Designer.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Develop structural designs and support the detailed 3D models for modular components of a large‑scale LNG facility, ensuring alignment with project specifications and industry standards.
• Coordinate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate structural requirements into the overall module layout using advanced 3D modeling software.
• Review, update, and maintain model accuracy throughout the design lifecycle, resolving clashes and ensuring constructability within modular fabrication constraints.
• Prepare and deliver structural drawings, material takeoffs, and design documentation derived from the 3D model to support procurement, fabrication, and construction activities.
• Participate in design reviews, provide technical input, and support continuous improvement of modeling workflows, standards, and coordination processes across the project.

REQUIREMENTS
