Job summary

Stephen Gould Corporation is seeking a Display and Packaging Structural Designer in Bentonville, AR to join a cross-functional design team. Qualifications

• Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes and production methods.
• Strong ability to communicate technical specifications with international offices and vendors.
• High proficiency in SolidWorks, SolidWorks Visualize, Ardios CAD, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Skilled in hand sketches, marker renderings, or digital sketching.

Responsibilities

• Create quick-turn, photorealistic renderings and illustrations using SolidWorks and SolidWorks Visualize.
• Develop detailed, part-level engineering specifications for quoting and production.
• Manage lead times and project priorities in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
• Think creatively to deliver innovative, visually compelling, and manufacturable design solutions.
• Collaborate closely with internal design, engineering, and international manufacturing teams.
• Work with client marketing and brand teams to align design intent with retail strategy.
• Support graphic design needs when required.

Stephen Gould Corporation is a global provider of packaging, merchandising, and supply chain solutions for leading brands and retailers. We’re looking for a Display and Packaging Structural Designer in Bentonville, AR to join our growing, cross‑functional design team.

This role offers hands‑on involvement throughout the full product development process, from concept ideation through engineering, production, and retail execution, working with a wide range of materials, manufacturing processes, and retail environments.

Role Overview

The Designer will support new product development, packaging, and merchandising initiatives by creating concepts, producing detailed engineering documentation, and collaborating with internal teams and client stakeholders. This position is ideal for a creative, technically proficient designer who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is comfortable balancing multiple projects with quick turnaround demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Create quick-turn, photorealistic concept renderings and illustrations using SolidWorks and SolidWorks Visualize.
• Develop detailed, part-level engineering specifications for quoting and production
• Manage lead times and project priorities in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
• Think creatively to deliver innovative, visually compelling, and manufacturable design solutions
• Collaborate closely with internal design, engineering, and international manufacturing teams
• Work with client marketing and brand teams to align design intent with retail strategy
• Support graphic design needs when required.

Materials & Manufacturing Knowledge

The Industrial Designer will work across a broad range of materials and production methods, including:

• Corrugate
• Paperboard
• Rigid chipboard packaging
• Thermoforming / vacuum forming
• Foam Board

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes and production methods
• Strong ability to communicate technical specifications, including coordination with international offices and vendors
• High proficiency in Ardios CAD, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator
• Skilled in conceptualizing ideas through hand sketches, marker renderings, or digital sketching
