Job summary

HKA Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a remote Structural Designer to develop 2D and 3D deliverables for advanced technology manufacturing environments, including semiconductor facilities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years drafting/design experience in structural field.
• 1+ year Revit experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts and produce 2D and 3D structural deliverables.
• Develop 3D structural models in Revit or other design software from verbal instructions or rough sketches.
• Support structural modeling for advanced technology manufacturing environments, including semiconductor fabrication and support facilities.
• Produce complete structural plan and detail sets, or assigned portions of drawing sets, that reflect project scope and department and client standards.
• Manage your assigned workload independently, take ownership of your scope, and uphold your commitments.
• Apply department and client standards with normal review and feedback.
• Verify the completeness and accuracy of your work before submission.
• Support coordination with related disciplines and team execution within your assigned scope.
• Participate in coordination, QA/QC, BIM, or similar processes as assigned.
• Complete routine work independently after initial direction and seek guidance when scope, standards, or direction are unclear.
• Support team members by addressing assigned needs.
• Advance design automation skills, embrace emerging technologies, and contribute to a collaborative team environment and Culture of Care.

Why This Opportunity

You will develop 2D and 3D structural deliverables for advanced technology manufacturing environments, including semiconductor fabrication and support facilities. You will build structural models in Revit or other design software, produce complete plans and details, and support coordination within your assigned scope. In this fully remote role, you will manage routine work independently while contributing to QA/QC, BIM, and related design-team processes.

PAY: $34.00/hr - $40.00/hr DOE LOCATION: Tempe, AZ 85282 WORK TYPE: Remote SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completed coursework in Computer-Aided Drafting and Design.
• Minimum of 2 years of drafting/design experience in the structural field.
• Minimum of 1 year of Revit experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in Computer-Aided Drafting or equivalent.
• 3 years of Revit experience.
• Experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam.
• Experience designing traditional steel and concrete structures.
• Experience with general industrial facilities, preferably semiconductor-related.

Work Environment

This is a fully remote position. You are expected to provide reliable internet service at home to meet project performance requirements effectively.
