Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare efficient and organized email communications both internal and with clients.
• Participate in and contribute to project and interdepartmental meetings to facilitate successful completion of projects and to meet customer expectations and needs.
• Have awareness of assigned project budgets, schedules, and scopes.
• Assist with preparation of construction documents.
• Detail structural framing systems for both new and modified structures.
• Assist with concept development of structural systems under direction of senior engineers.
• Issue and record drawing submittals and revisions.
• Respond to Requests for Information and field questions under direction of senior engineer.
• Perform loading analysis and determination for all types of structures.
• Develop structural analysis models using STAAD, RISA, or other analysis programs.
• Increase and utilize knowledge of structural codes including the IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI, and AWS.
• Analyze and design structural systems demonstrating a foundational understanding in various materials: Structural Steel, Concrete, Masonry.
• Develop site civil designs including paving, grading, drainage.
• Develop proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD and ability to develop drawings.
