Job summary

Interns learn structural analysis and design, develop concept designs, and prepare construction documents under guidance for clients across markets.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an ABET accredited Civil Engineering bachelor or master program, preferably with structural concentration.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with structural design/analysis software (RISA, STAAD) a plus.
• Experience with drafting/modeling software (Revit and AutoCAD) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in structural analysis and design for a variety of building types and materials.
• Develop concept designs and create construction documents for clients across markets.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects on projects in Richmond, VA.
