Job summary

SEH is an employee-owned engineering, architectural, planning, and environmental company seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer for our Denver-area team. You’ll work on commercial and residential structures, collaborating across disciplines to deliver safe, durable designs.

Ideal candidates use REVIT Structure and other tools, adhere to IBC/ASCE 7/AISC codes, and are willing to travel for on-site inspections as needed. We value initiative, teamwork, and a commitment to building a better world.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with emphasis on structural analysis and design.
• FE exam completed or Engineering Intern registration; PE preferred.
• Proficiency with REVIT Structure to produce construction documents.
• Experience with structural steel, reinforced concrete, CMU, or timber design; familiar with RISA, RAM, LPile.
• Knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI, NDS design codes.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for site visits.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Structural analysis, design and detailing of commercial and residential elements.
• Prepare structural calculation packages using RISA, RAM, Tekla Tedds.
• Collaborate on large, complex projects with the design team.
• Produce structural models and construction documents in REVIT.
• Apply IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI, PCI, NDS design codes.
• Create quantity take-offs and cost estimates for structure elements.
• Review shop drawings and submittals during construction administration.
