Job summary

BCforward seeks a Structures & Casings Component Design Technical Specialist in Milwaukie, OR. This senior position requires extensive hands-on experience with casting design, aerospace MRB, and manufacturability improvements.

You will provide senior technical guidance, act as a subject-matter expert, support production activities, and resolve complex issues in aerospace component design. A minimum of 10+ years of engineering experience is expected.

Location: Milwaukie, OR - just south of Portland

Experience: 10+ years

This is a highly technical, senior-level position supporting Structures & Casings Component Design. The ideal candidate needs strong, hands-on experience with:

• Casting design and manufacturing
• Extensive aerospace MRB (Material Review Board) experience
• Producibility/manufacturability work within aerospace
• Component design and manufacturing problem resolution
• Providing senior-level technical guidance and serving as a subject-matter expert
• Supporting production/"run and maintain" activities and resolving complex technical issues
• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience
