Job summary

HDR is seeking a Structural Design Coordinator/EIT in Charleston, South Carolina. You will conduct analyses to develop design options and assist in the preparation of cost estimates and specifications for structural projects, contributing to HDR’s employee-owned culture and commitment to excellence.

You will perform routine engineering assignments, work independently on small projects or with senior engineers, and provide guidance to clerical and technical staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in structural engineering required.
• Active participation in employee-owned culture is essential.
• Local candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analyses to develop design options or recommendations and assist in the preparation of cost estimates and specifications for structural engineering projects.
• Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures.

• Give direction to clerical and technical personnel as needed.
