Job summary

Blazer Modular Construction is seeking an experienced Cut Shop Carpenter to join our Production team in Aumsville, OR. You will read construction drawings, measure, cut, and prepare materials for walls, floors, and roofs, and operate shop equipment safely to meet production standards.

You will contribute to a clean, organized, and safe work area while supporting teammates and identifying ways to improve productivity and quality. Competitive hourly pay and strong safety culture are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and measurements.
• Able to measure, cut, and prepare materials for walls, floors, roofs and components.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and efficiently.
• Build and assemble components per production standards and project requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area; load/unload materials.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and workflow.

• Previous carpentry, construction, manufacturing, or cut shop experience.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, measuring techniques, and shop practices.
• Experience working with saws, drills, routers, nailers, and other carpentry tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Strong problem-solving skills and safety awareness.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to learn new equipment and processes as needed.
