Job summary

Thorson Baker & Associates, Inc. is seeking a detailing professional to develop detailed drawings and models for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, fire alarm, and electrical systems based on redline markups.

You will apply and maintain company CAD standards and collaborate with engineers to ensure accuracy and compliance. The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, plus an Associate degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Drafting and Design, or a minimum of three years of professional experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with drafting and modeling practices, including the ability to interpret and incorporate markups and convert redline drawings into finalized documents.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to complete assigned responsibilities efficiently and accurately.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Willingness to work additional hours beyond 40 hours per week, when necessary, to meet project deadlines and client requirements.

8 hours Mon-Friday

8.5 hoursMon-Thursday with 6-hour Fridays
