Job summary

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a Structural CAD/BIM Designer to join our Lakewood/Greenwood Village team. The role focuses on producing structural BIM (Revit) models, families, and contract drawings for water, wastewater, and pump station facilities, working with senior designers and engineers.

In-office, collaborative environment with opportunities for growth in CAD/BIM standards and workflows, including clash detection and multi-discipline coordination.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CAD drafting design or completion of technical school with CAD design certificate.
• Experience with BIM and Revit for structural projects.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple disciplines and ensure CAD standards.

Responsibilities

• Execute redlines from Engineers and senior CAD Designers.
• Coordinate contract drawing development with multiple disciplines.
• Perform BIM model clash detection and resolve conflicts with other disciplines.
• Ensure drawing compliance with company and client CAD standards.
• Provide input on CAD/BIM standards and workflows.
• Demonstrate ambition to learn, communicate effectively, and collaborate with other designers.

Structural CAD/BIM Designer

Full Time Office Dsg/Drafter 701 Denver, CO - Lakewood, Lakewood, CO, US

Salary Range: $88,000.00 To $115,000.00 Annually

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a CAD/BIM Designer to join our Structural team for our Lakewood or Greenwood Village offices to work alongside Senior Designers and Engineers. This position will include the production of structural BIM (Revit) models, families, and contract drawings for various Water, Wastewater, and Pump Station facilities projects.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of CAD drafting design or completion of technical school with CAD design certificate

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience/skills would be advantageous
