THIS OPPORTUNITY:

As an experienced Engineer, you will have the opportunity to lead, grow, and mentor a high-performing team of engineering professionals. You will utilize your management skills to plan and organize team efforts, oversee cost control, staffing, and quality. Your professionalism will be key in cultivating client relationships and enhancing the Egis North America brand through participation in regional associations. Strong communication skills will support proposal development and marketing initiatives.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and plan projects in accordance with applicable specifications, including various bridge types such as steel plate girder, prestressed concrete girder, and reinforced concrete slab structures.
• Conduct structural analysis to ensure the strength and safety of highway structures.
• Prepare structural designs and contract documents, including drawings, specifications, and estimates.
• Assist in preparing project budgets and schedules.
• Perform calculations for designing bridges and transportation structures using AutoCAD and/or specialized bridge design software.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or specialized bridge design software.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with co-workers and clients.
• Knowledge of Prestressed Concrete.
• Expertise in layout and design of bridges and highway structures.
