Parsons is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to assist with a major transportation project. Parsons Bridge & Structures Infrastructure team is a recognized leader in the planning and design of structural projects, and we are respected by our clients as an organization with strong technical skills, solid project delivery, and excellent performance. In today’s rapidly evolving alternative project delivery and design-build markets, we offer extraordinary career opportunities based on our existing projects and backlog, financial strength, and innovation towards Connected Communities and new Mobility Solutions! These roles would be based out of our Centreville, VA office.
Completes a wide variety of difficult engineering assignments, applying engineering techniques and analyses within one discipline. The Engineer at this level is a fully qualified professional, proficient in the utilization of most engineering theories and practices. Some assignments involve CAE/CAD applications.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or related field) and typically 5+ years of related work experience. Professional Engineer registration may be required.
Proficiency in utilizing CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is required.
