• Knowledge of OpenBridge Designer, Leap Bridge Concrete, CSiBridge or similar tools preferred.
• Proficiency using CADD (MicroStation preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership and ability to deliver high-quality projects.
• Desire to work in a team environment.

Structural (Bridge) Engineer

Dewberry is seeking a Structural (Bridge) Engineer interested in developing their career to join our structures department in any of our Virginia offices. The successful candidate will be part of a team designing simple and complex bridges (primarily concrete and steel construction) and a variety of transportation related structures (retaining walls, culverts, and other ancillary structures). The candidate will be involved in the development of Plans, Specifications, and Estimate (PS&E) packages. Required Skills & Experience

• BS in Civil Engineering with a focus in Structural engineering required; MS preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience working on structural and bridge engineering projects.
• Virginia Professional Engineer (PE) License is preferred or ability to obtain within 1-2 years.
• Familiarity with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications; experience with VDOT and/or MD SHA standards preferred.

• Proficiency using CADD (Microstation preferred).

The projected range for this position is $86,000 - $111,000 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.

Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record and ability to pass a driving record background check.
