This is a great opportunity for an BIM/CAD designer with experience in Civil Structural design who values being part of a team and working with others. The designer assists Project Engineers and/or Civil Designers in the completion of land development and public works projects.

WHAT YOU NEED

You will need to have a collaborative and professional work ethic along with community college or university-level courses in drafting/civil engineering/surveying or work in allied professions (structural or mechanical).

• Proficient with Revit, AutoCAD, and other CAD programs and MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge of graphic standards
• Understanding of engineering processes used in drafting for an engineering department.
• Able to conform to checklist for plans such as foundation plans, floor framing plans and roof framing plans.
• Ability to draft civil engineering features
• Understands what a Schematic Drawing, Design Development and Construction Documents submittal includes and is familiar with 50%, 75%, 90% and 100% submittal steps.

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY

• Prepare base drawings, sheet setup, create structural sections, drafting of structural details, review of checklist prepared by Drafting Technicians l and ll for plans, detail sheets, and drafting of details.
• Creates sheets in a manner that is consistent with company standard sheet format.
• Estimate man hours for drafting time.
• Revise redlined plans as requested by project engineer and/or civil designer
• Other duties as assigned
