Job Overview

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) seeks experienced engineers to join our Payloads Interior Certification team in North Charleston, South Carolina. This role involves working closely with the Interior Arrangement Engineering Unit to ensure compliance of interior designs with FAA and EASA regulations, preparing certification documentation, and collaborating across teams to support certification processes.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and review certification and technical documentation for compliance with federal regulations.
  • Coordinate certification activities with internal teams and regulatory agencies.
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings, providing guidance on certification strategies.
  • Communicate effectively across various organizational levels.
  • Lead projects, problem-solve, and work independently with minimal supervision.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in engineering, design, or certification.

Preferred:

  • 10+ years' experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • Knowledge of payloads engineering, certification plan authoring, and relevant software tools (ENOVIA, IVT, DCCS, REDARS).
  • Experience with FAA Part 25 and EASA regulations.
